1Yes, if you have a phone that has a chip in it (which most do by now), they have the tracing capability. New York times has a little blurp about it how police use criminals cell phones to trace where they are and what they are up to. Be careful what info you give out on a cell phone, it can easily be intercepted. I have picked up cell phone conversations on my radio.
