Best cellular phone plan in the bay area?

Can someone tell me the best cellular phone promotion in the bay area? A promotion that you run into recently (e.g., local stores)? Or, a web-site promotion that you find (e.g., amazon)? I had a family plan with Cingular and would like to get a good deal when I renew or switch to a new provider.
If you believe that I should go with Cingular, please provide a deal that I can a new phone from Cingular. Thanks.
